Roshin Lal Ramesan is an experienced product leader with a passion for building great teams to deliver customer-focused innovation used by millions. With over 22 years of relevant experience, Roshin has established himself as a highly skilled Principal PM Manager at Microsoft Teams, the fastest-growing application in Microsoft history. In his current role, Roshin leads the core collaboration product team responsible for delivering key capabilities such as guest access for cross-company collaboration and private channels for focused collaboration. He is a specialist in product management, enterprise and consumer applications, UX design, cloud computing, machine learning, embedded systems, data, and A/B experimentation. Roshin has a proven track record of success, having previously led the consumer time management product team responsible for personal time management in Microsoft Outlook. He pioneered the infusion of intelligent time management experiences in Outlook, including email understanding and entity extraction powering travel, package and reservation scenarios, subscriptions to sports and TV schedules, NL-based scheduling, and more. Prior to his current role, Roshin also led program management of Lync, the precursor to Microsoft Teams. He introduced mobile collaboration with the ability to view shared meeting content, including screen sharing and PowerPoint presentations, on tablets and smartphones. He also launched the browser client on the new Office 365 cloud-hosted offering with a fresh new experience. Roshin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He possesses a diverse tech stack, including product management, design, machine learning, and mobile.
